Using the tools
All tools are free to use. Please don't try to break or overload the site, and don't copy the site's own text or code to make a copy of the site.
What you make is yours
Races, names, creatures, portraits, stat blocks, charts and other results you generate are yours to use, change and publish, including in commercial books, games and art. A credit or link is welcome but not required.
One exception: if a result includes D&D rules text from the free System Reference Document (for example SRD species traits or stat block rules), that part stays under the CC-BY-4.0 licence. When you publish it, credit Wizards of the Coast as shown on our Credits page.
Generated names are made by combining sounds at random. Before you publish a name in a big commercial project, it is wise to check that nobody else is already using it.
Pictures
Portraits, tokens, size charts and other pictures you make with the tools are yours, in the same way. The site's logo and its own page pictures (the share pictures you see when a page is posted online) belong to Fantasy Race Generator; you are welcome to use them when you share or link to our pages.

Some rules content comes from the free System Reference Document (SRD 5.1/5.2) under CC-BY-4.0; see Credits. This site is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.
Quizzes and games
Quizzes and games are for fun. A quiz result is a playful match, not a real personality test.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are. We work hard to make them accurate, but please check rules-critical numbers for your own table.
